Building resilient futures at the Wisconsin Leadership Summit

Nicole Sandoval will moderate a panel discussion titled “Building Resilient Futures for this generation and the next” on Monday, October 10, the first day of the Wisconsin Leadership Summit.

Born in La Paz, Bolivia, Nicole is a Community Engagement Coordinator in the office of Equity and Inclusion and Community Engagement at Madison College. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations, Political Science and Ethnic Studies from Edgewood College. Her professional experience includes higher education practices, program development, community outreach, event coordination, along with in-depth knowledge of immigration policy from her previous role at KCQLC, Ltd in Chicago, IL. The Leadership Greater Madison alumna is a certified Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF). She was named one of thirty-two Wisconsin’s most powerful Latino’s in 2018 by Madison365 and 40 under 40 by InBusiness magazine class of 2019. Nicole received the Believe and Succeed award by La Movida Radio in 2019 and in 2021 was an Athena Young Professional Nominee. She is immediate past president of the Latino Professionals Association and currently serves on the board for UNIDOS against domestic violence, Emerging Leadership Board for Carbone Cancer Center at the University of Wisconsin Hospital, and Girl Scouts of Wisconsin-Badgerland. She has a pomsky named Zoe, and in her free time she enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and dancing.
