The arts of autonomy, a major issue in the company of elderly or disabled people
Concerned about the difficulties that Medical-Social Institutions and Services (ESMS) face for recruit qualified personnel, the Alpes-Maritimes Departmental Assembly created, on October 1, 2022, the Departmental Center for the Arts of Autonomy (CDMA) in order to support them on the basis of employment and activity of older and handicap. Its creation is registered as part of the Departmental Autonomy Scheme 2022-2026 in favor of the elderly and people with disabilities adopted on 17 December 2022.
This Departmental Scheme is organized into 5 major strategic axes, the 5th of which is to strengthen the attractiveness of the autonomous sectors and accompany the professionalization of the sector worked by the CDMA.
A day of information and contact for various members of the public
The departmental day of employment in the fields of autonomy (elderly people / persons with disabilities) is organized by the CDMA, in partnership with Pôle Emploi-Cap Emploi, the Caisse d’Allocation Familiale and others partners, free access to the Salle Laure Ecard. It aims to present, to people interested in this field of activities, the different types of trades and trainings in the sector (life assistant, specialized educator, helper person in case of disability, family host, caregiver etc. ).
The leaders and managers of RH of Institutions and Medical-Social Services (ESMS), which will be close to one hundred, will offer a reflection to strengthen the attractiveness of the autonomy sector, via round tables and speed- meeting.
