HBJ recognizes Amy Bernstein as Residential Real Estate Award finalist

Amy Bernstein is Houston Business Journal’s 2022 Residential Real Estate Award finalist, the HBJ announced on March 25. Bernstein has been recognized every year since 2008 by the HBJ as one of the Top 25 residential real estate professionals, based on sales production. She was in the Top 15 for 2021.

Bernstein is broker / owner at Bernstein Realty, which she founded in 1985 with a small office on the north side of the Katy Freeway at Bunker Hill. Bernstein started her real estate company with two agents and a vision.

Young and eager, she worked diligently to build her business and provide excellent service to her clients. With more than 38
years of experience, she’s hardworking, dedicated and takes pride in her work each and every day. Bernstein’s knowledge regarding current trends in the local real estate market and her unmatched negotiation skills make her an invaluable resource to her clients.

In the HBJ article, Bernstein spoke about why Houston is a hot home market at this time.

Bernstein: “Houston is such a diverse city, and although prices have escalated quite a bit this year, we still have an affordable housing market as compared to many other cities. The demand for buyers in the market has exceeded the supply of homes available and, as a result, prices are on an upward trend. Low interest rates have also been a driver in this hot market. ”

Bernstein said new Realtors in this market should “Attend every training offered, shadow an experienced agent whenever possible and build a sphere of influence and connect with them.”

About her profession, Bernstein said, “I love people. I enjoy the different personalities and I love assisting people in the purchase or sale of their home that is so personal and precious to them. This often results in lifelong friendships that are so special to me. At Bernstein Realty, I enjoy helping the agents build their careers, mentoring them along the way and watching them achieve their own success. ”

Her biggest win and challenge this past year? Bernstein said, “My biggest win this year was learning to navigate and guide buyers and sellers in this frenzied market. My biggest challenge was the same as biggest win – learning to navigate and guide buyers and sellers in this frenzied market.

Bernstein also said of her sales: “Each sale has its own character and personality; they are all interesting. ”

Whether you love city life, prefer the suburbs or something in between, Bernstein Realty is ready to assist you with your residential real estate, corporate relocation or property-management needs. Agents are proud of
the longstanding tradition of excellence, and they look forward to being of service.
