Real estate event to include national speakers, proceeds donated to Bedz for Kidz

Real Estate Road Map to 2023, hosted by Midland Trust, will provide projections into the real estate market. Featured presenters include a national motivational speaker and five expert speakers in different sectors of the real estate industry.

The evening will begin at 5 pm Thursday, Sept. 29, at 15671 San Carlos Blvd. Fort Myers. Included in the event is a unique opportunity for networking during cocktail hour for the first 30 people who check in, a 50/50 raffle, appetizers, and drinks.

All proceeds will be donated to Guardian ad Litem Foundation’s Bedz for Kidz program. The program provides beds, cribs, dressers, and blankets to children in need and has helped over 3,000 Southwest Florida youth.

Ron Frost, a motivational speaker, business coach, and author, will kick off the evening. Following mr. Frost will be expert speakers:

¦ Economist, Amir Neto: Director of the Regional Economic Research Institute, and Assistant Professor of Economics at Florida Gulf Coast University. He will focus on questions regarding local labor markets, economic impact and urban amenities.

¦ Real Estate Attorney, Christopher Pope: Mr. Pope joined the Pavese Law Firm in 2012 and became a partner in 2018. He is recognized by the Florida Bar as a board certified specialist in three practice areas, condominium and planned development law; real estate law; and construction law.

¦ Mortgage Officer, Dan Cronin: Mr. Cronin is a senior vice president and residential loan officer based in the McGregor location. He spent the first half of his career in the automotive industry and in 2005, he relocated to Florida and began his career in mortgage lending.

¦ Real Estate Broker, SWFL REIA, Jeff Tumbarello: In 2003, Mr. Tumbarello founded the Southwest Florida Real Estate Investment Association with three other SWFL RE investors. He is a local expert and source of data for current real estate trends in foreclosures.

¦ Property Manager, SWFL REIA, Mike Lyons: Mr. Lyon’s expertise is in property management. He currently manages several hundred properties in Lee County (specifically Cape Coral, Fort Myers, North Fort Myers Lehigh Acres, and Bonita Springs). He is one of the few investors who also enjoys property management.

Topics covered by the speakers include mortgages and interest rates, rules and regulations for purchasing and managing property, the seasonality of the Southwest Florida market, and a national and regional economic update.
