Job Title: Sales and Concierge Executive

Reporting to: Vicky Reeves and Katie Hale [Owners/Directors]

Hours: Full time (37.5 hour week) Flexible – 4 or 5 days per week (4 days or 32 hours over 5 days if preferred.

Salary: £28-32k depending on experience

Job brief

We are looking for an experienced Sales Consultant with great enthusiasm for travel and excellent customer service. Previous travel experience is not essential. You will be responsible for promoting and booking luxury holidays, along with creating dream holiday experiences for our expanding and dedicated clientele.

The role will primarily focus on delivering excellent customer service and delivering on sales targets. Some travel to Portugal will be required.

Job Overview and Key Responsibilities


  • Demonstrate excellent customer service and sales ability to our client base, by seeking to understand their travel needs and tailor making their dream travel plans accordingly.
  • Tenacious and proactive sales approach to drive growth of the business.
  • Organize holidays from start to finish, looking for ways to enhance the clients experience throughout.
  • Demonstrate local knowledge by supplying travelers with pertinent information about The Algarve and useful travel/holiday material and tips (guides, maps, restaurants, etc)
  • Liaise with Portugal partners to coordinate customer holidays and facilitate the arrangements of all concierge offerings.
  • Involvement in Marketing strategy to develop the business further.

Team liaison

  • Work closely with all the team to deliver the best possible experience to our customers and owners.
  • Liaise with property suppliers to build strong relationships, representing the company and values.
  • Build excellent relationships with the ‘on the ground’ team in Portugal to contribute to our existing team culture.


  • Management of some administrative tasks such as online availability calendars and client arrival data alongside administrator.
  • Liaison with property owners and suppliers to coordinate bookings and client holidays.

Customer Services

  • Provide a seamless service for clients throughout their holiday booking process to manage all enquiries.
  • Focus on excellent customer service and deal with any client/owner queries or issues as they arise alongside CRM team (Customer Relations Managers)
  • Responsible for a dedicated portfolio of repeat clients to further the business through exceptional customer service and management.

Concierge management

  • Manage facilitation and delivery of concierge offerings, informing clients and managing the bookings alongside UK CRM.
  • Work closely with the ‘on the ground’ Portugal team to make sure client expectations are met and concierge offerings are delivered to a high standard.
  • Close liaison with the Directors on the marketing strategy for concierge offerings and ‘client experience’ to further develop the business.
  • Present any new opportunities to Directors for the concierge service to further enhance these offerings.

Experience required:

  • Proven successful track record of selling
  • Travel industry experience not essential
  • Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service
  • Experience dealing with difficult customers/situations
  • Proven experience of multi-tasking and operational, process or project management
  • Owning or being held accountable for projects
